The conference held in Oberhausen, Germany was hosted by the prestigious organization Verein Deutscher Kokerei Fachleute (VDKF). Environmental advancements were at the core of the conference program, along with next generation technologies for the coking industry more broadly.
The presentation – Improving the Sustainability and Operational Efficiency of Coking Plants Through Fluid Dynamic Dust Separation: A Case Study at SSAB Raahe – was done jointly by Filtrabit CEO Dr. Kim Fagerlund, Chief Product Officer Jyri Tolonen and INperfektion CEO Ralf Aldenhoven.

The joint presentation focused on the case study of Filtrabit’s flow-dynamic dust separation technology at the SSAB steelworks in Raahe, Finland, where significant operational and environmental improvements were achieved at the coarse coke sieving unit.
